Radical Mentoring is a yearlong discipleship and mentoring program offered by Friday Morning Men’s Fellowship (FMMF). It focuses on assisting young men to go deeper in their faith relationship with Jesus Christ, and to develop a more thoughtful and meaningful Christ-centered world view. Originally begun by businessman Reggie Campbell over 15 years ago, Radical Mentoring is now being used across the country and in various countries elsewhere throughout the world to help disciple and grow men deeper in their faith.

Through Friday Morning Men's Fellowship, this program is being offered to both married young men in their 20s and 30s, as well as those who are contemplating marriage in the near future. The year consists of up to six mentees and a leader getting to know each other, and then spending the next ten months doing some extensive reading, scripture memory, as well as practical life accountability and communication exercises aimed at their spouses, which has the result of strengthening their marriages and equipping them to become better leaders in their homes, their marriages, and their community.

Leadership Ministries also offers a “2.0” course for graduates of the initial year long program on selective topics that go deeper into the topics of leadership in the home, the community, and in the world. We welcome you to reach out to any of our current mentor leaders, Alan BullockKen Thrasher, or Bob Voyles.

Each of us would enjoy speaking with you!

2018/2019 Mentor Leaders

Alan Bullock began his mission to mentor young men in their Christian faith through the Radical Mentoring program in 2014, after accepting the challenge from Chris White at the Friday Morning Men’s Fellowship (FMMF). He has been a long-time participant in the FMMF, as well as active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at UGA.

Alan graduated from UGA in 1975 and shortly thereafter formed his own commercial real estate company, Bullock Mannelly Partners, Inc., which has been operative for 35 years in commercial development and investment banking. In addition to having served on the governing boards of various real estate related agencies, Alan is an active member of the UGA Terry Business School Board and enjoys mentoring UGA students and athletes. Alan has been married for 45 years to his high school sweetheart and has three grown children and four amazing grandchildren!

Ken Thrasher is a founding partner and Chairman emeritus of Bennett Thrasher, LLP, an IPA Top 100 in U.S. CPA and consulting firm. Ken and Cathy, his wife of 42 years, live in Vinings and have three adult sons and three grandchildren.

Ken has attended the Friday Morning Men’s Fellowship since 1987 and serves on the Leadership Ministries, Inc. and Leadership Ministries Foundation, Inc. boards of directors. He also serves on the board of directors of Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Southern Federal Tax Institute, Langham Partners USA and UGA Terry College Alumni Emeritus. He graduated University of Georgia in 1974 with BBA and Master of Accountancy degrees.

Bob Voyles is a long time participant in Friday Morning Men’s Fellowship (FMMF), having first met Chris White while engaged in a life and career planning exercise. Since moving to Atlanta in 1980, Bob has been involved in the commercial real estate industry for his entire career, first as a transactional attorney at a major Atlanta law firm, and later, working on the principal side for a large national development firm. More recently, Bob started his own commercial development and asset management firm, which is now 14 years into its “start-up.”

Bob has been married for 41 years to his sweetheart for life, and has four grown children and five beautiful granddaughters. Bob has also led numerous mentoring groups over the last ten years and is called to this ministry.
